The people behind Jali Africa Group

Jali Africa Group has experienced leaders and staff, people with a heart to serve, and willing to go an extra mile for the sake of seeing transformation in the lives of vulnerable persons from slums and local villages.



Linet Jeruto is the founder of Jali Africa Group. She was born in 1976. She has a Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Nairobi (UON). She is currently taking a master’s course in Master of science in Clinical Psychology (UON). She also holds a diploma in Social Work and Social Development from University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Food and Beverage & Nutrition from the Technical University of Kenya. Has more than 15 years of work experience in the social development environment.

Co – Founder


Pastor James Kweyu is a co-founder of Jali Africa Group. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K). He has over 15 years experience in financial, grants and project management.

He is also the founder pastor of Pentecostal Baptist Church and has passion for community holistic transformation.


Elizabeth Oduor

Elizabeth Oduor holds a certificate in Community Health and has a wide experience in working with Government Health clinic in promoting women health and girl child education. She is has a heart to assist vulnerable children and has rescued six children from the street and lives with them in her house. She is a model to many women living in slums. She is a committed member of the Catholic church.

Training Manager

Mildred Mbere

Holds a Diploma in Bakery and food production. She is a born again Christian, married and blessed with four children.


Patricia Nduku

She has a special gift in handling small children. She has a certificate in early child hood development. She is married and blessed with five children. She does her best to make sure that the children are well taken care of. She is a member of the Redeemed Gospel church.


Angeline Juma

Has a certificate in Basic cookery skills. She is a widow, blessed with five children. Angeline is a Christian and a member of the Catholic Church.
